Flying the Flag - ICC Mediation Competition
Three Notre Dame Sydney law students Miranda Cooper, Alice Dormer and Selma Causevic are heading to Paris this week to compete in the International Chamber of Commerce 13th International Commercial Mediation Competition.
Over the six day competition the girls will compete in mock sessions to resolve international business disputes through mediation. Notre Dame are one of three Australian teams competing, which is an absolute tribute to the quality of competitors we produce. They will be facing a wide range of competitors from all over the world including Denmark, Israel, the United States, Germany, France and Japan.
The girls started off by entering our negotiations competition last year, and their talent has now taken them all the way to Paris. Our NDSLS competitions are a perfect opportunity to begin developing skills that can take you all over the world. If you'd like to go to Paris (surely?) then why not sign up for our next competition, who knows where you could end up?
We wish the girls all the best in such a prestigious competition, we are sure their hard work and the hours they've put in will pay off!
