For the first time, the NDSLS is pleased to host, the Gilbert + Tobin Law and Technology forum.
It is not an understatement to state that the Legal Profession is undergoing rapid change in all the facets of legal practice.
One of the biggest drivers of change is Technology.
Technology and Innovation have as such, become catch-phrases in the literature, but from a student perspective, there are many questions, namely: what these techonologies are (Artificial Intelligence), how exactly they are affecting legal practices and what tools would you need in 10 years time to be a succesful lawyer who can adapt to this change.
The NSW Law Society has released its’ findings in the FLIP report:
We have a highly respected caliber of panelists.
1. Petra Stirling – Head of Legal Capability and Transformation at Gilbert + Tobin.
2. Julian Uebergang – Manging Director of Neota Logic.
3. Tahlia Gordon – Director Creative Consequences.
4. Associate Professor Michael Legg – Senior Lecturer UNSW.
There will be panelists profiles in the coming days.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Tickets: $5 only, and will also be available at the door.
This is an event you do not want to miss, and an opportunity to network, anyone is welcome to attend.
