The NDSLS believes strongly in arming its members with the best possible knowledge to succeed in obtaining clerkship, graduate and internship roles.
As such we have a few workshops over the year to best equip you.

The first step to securing a clerkship or graduate positions is having a strong CV and cover-letter. At this workshop, students will hear tips from a Top Tier Firm – Minter Ellison staff member on what it takes to secure an interview or progress to the next round.
Once you have succeeded on the first stage you move on to the second stage. This workshop from an International Firm will workshop on the fundamentals of interviewing.
This year the NDSLS together with KWM will also go through the core practice groups at KWM.
This is an opportunity to learn about the clerkship process. The applicator process is challenging and competitive, but staff members from Ashurst will be sharing directly with the ND law students what their firm is looking for in their future clerks and graduates and how to best demonstrate this in an application.
This is very important not only for penultimate year students, but also for third and second year students – it’s never too early to start planning.
